I was taking the trash down to the basement today and found a changing table sitting there waiting to be taken away. It's old, very dirty, and a little rickety, but I don't think it's something that some time, elbow grease, and a hammer and nails can't handle.:) After all, I have a little more than 7 months until I'll be needing it.
What do you think? Is it ok to take stuff away from the garbage? I guess it's no different from picking up some furniture off of the street that has been left out for the garbage men.
If I can't get it a whole lot sturdier and sparkling clean I won't even think of using it when our baby comes home, but it's worth a try.:)
