I was at the vet the other day picking up something for my dog, and there was a tall, muscular guy standing there with the teeniest kitten (about 4 wks old) in the palm of his hand. He found it hundled by the curb on a busy highway! What great eyesight! Two other women and I rushed to him and cooed and ahhhed and insisted he adopt it IMMEDIATELY, as the kitten was so content and so obviously smitten with him. He already had 3 cats, but by the time we got through with him he had another one! My wonderful vet has a Good Samaratian policy so except for a small fee for the blood test, there's no charge! He was so modest and said anyone would have done the same thing, but obviously not..he pulled over a pickup truck in a 45mi hr zone!
