I haven't been anywhere tropical, but I don't feel bad about it. I've been to 30 different states, and I think they're all wonderful places to visit! :D

Arizona, California (obviously), Hawaii, New York, Oregon and Washington D.C. I've also been to Canada a few times.

I'd like to travel and go to different places/states/countries, but it's hard enough getting me on a plane. :o I DREAD flying, but I'm hoping to get over it one day. Hopefully next summer we'll be able to go to Kentucky, where my grandfather and his wife live. My family and I are also hoping to go on an Alaskan Cruise one year. I'd also love to go back to Hawaii (by far the most BEAUTIFUL place I've ever seen) and visit some of the other islands, since I've only been to Maui.

I've also been to various parts of Ontario, Canada (including Toronto), and I've swam or waded in all five Great Lakes. :D I was a lucky kid growing up - my parents loved to camp, and we camped all over the country on summer vacations. North and South Dakota were the coolest. :D

My 12 year old cousin, uncle, and his son went on an Alaskan Cruise last summer. They LOVED it! :D We're supposed to make plans with family friends to go within the next year or two.. should be fun!

Washington D.C. is very nice. People there are really friendly, and the area is soo clean! There also seems to be a Starbucks just about on every corner.. which is an added bonus. ;)

Hehe, make sure you let us know when you plan on flyin' out to Cali.. maybe myself and all the other CA PT'ers could have a "mini meeting". :D

Yosemite is BEAUTIFUL!!!! We go there almost every year and it is just gorgeous. I love it there.......wish I could live there. :p You would love California. ;) Here are some pics I have taken of Yosemite. :p (Yes I'm trying to tempt you :o )

How big is it?? The COUNTRY I live in is 20 KM wide by 50 KM long, and has a total population of 700 000!!

Hmm.. I'll try to tempt her too (hehe). I went to Yosemite in the beginning of this year for a school trip during the winter. It was BEAUTIFUL!!!! (These pictures don't even do justice)

You got to go in the WINTER??? Oh, I am SO jealous!!!!!!! Its my dream to see Yosemite covered in snow. I have seen snow there when we once went in April, but it wasn't much. We went in March this year, and the snow had melted early because of a heat wave we had, so we didn't get to see any snow. :( It was beautiful anyway, but I SOOOO want to see Yosemite in the winter someday.

We drove to Tahoe and decided to drive around it to get to the Nevada side.......just to see Nevada. ;) We did drive to Reno too, but its not our type of city, so we were out of there after a little drive. :p That's all I've seen of Nevada.

I spent a weekend in Las Vegas for a friend's wedding in June of 2001. MAN was it ever HOT!! :eek: :D Great time though. We stayed at Circus Circus, and the couple got married at Mandalay Bay. :D

New Mexico (lived there for a year in 1999), travelled to Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos, Los Alamos, and all over the southern areas (I lived in Roswell).
Texas - Lubbock, Abilene and El Paso
Arizona - Flagstaff, to see the Grand Canyon
Colorado - Colorado Springs, went near Denver but not in it
Utah - Salt Lake City
Nevada - Las Vegas, Reno, Elko, Lake Tahoe
California - San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, Lake Tahoe, Santa Cruz, Los Angeles, San Diego (stayed at a surf camp there)

Ciudad Juarez, Mexico (twice)

And in New Zealand I've been to Auckland (to fly in and out of the country), Coromandel, Bay of Plenty (Tauranga, Mt Maunganui), Rotorua, Taupo, Hawke's Bay (Napier, Hastings, Havelock Nth), Turangi, Manawatu (Palmerston Nth, Bulls, Marton, Fielding, Shannon, Levin), Wellington (live here) and Wairarapa and everywhere in between, Picton, Nelson, Christchurch. Would love to see more of the Sth Island in the summer sometime.

Is IDAHO a state? I have been there too., I remember it well because the area had a dam bust and it was a month later I was there and still it was devastating to see, sugar city I remember , really awful.

In my own country I have been to Auckland, Bay of Islands, Taupo, Rotorua, Tauranga,Thames, Coromandal,Whakatane, Palmerston North, Levin, Wellington, picton, Nelson,Blenheim,Christchurch,Dunedin, Invercargill, Bluff,greymouth, most of the north and south I have seen , but there are still many little places I have not seen and wish to, like Waiheke Island, about 2hrs by sea from Auckland City.
