This cutie. At first, he ran away from me. And no wonder because Duke was at the window having a barking fit. After I talked kitty to him for a few minutes, he walked towards me and I petted him and got him purring. I noticed he had a tag with ID on it so I took him inside to my bedroom so I could call the owner.

I can't believe they just let him run loose. Owner told me to just let him go and he'd come home. Grrrr. When I was a kid we let our Siamese loose. That was before I knew better. I'd never do it now, though. I want another cat so bad. Didn't realise how much I missed having one till I had this one in my room.

That's all. I hated to turn him loose. Hope he doesn't get hurt.

What a cutie! Of course I happen to be *somewhat* partial to tabbies.

Hmmm.... my SIL who lives in Floraida might be coming up sometime in the next few weeks; maybe I could convince her to return with one of my foster kittens and stop by your house to drop him/her off! ;)

AWWWWWWWWWWE! What a cutie!! I would have had trouble letting him go too. He sure looks like he's a love muffin. I hope he is safe and sound. My guess is that you will be seeing him again since he really seemed to feel very comfortable with you. Belly up usually takes a while!:) :)

Here's what you do - keep him, and then if/when the owner calls, say, "Oh, I turned him loose - didn't he come home? He must not want to be with you anymore!!" ;)

Belly up is a good sign that he feels very comfortable with you.

I too would have "forgotten" to set him loose. Poor little guy. I hope he'll be OK.

OHHHHHHHH he is so adorable. I would have to agree with everyone else I wouldn't have turned him loose either. He is sooo cute. If he comes back throw away the collar and get him one with your info on him. Poor little dear. I hope he will be safe.

His owners should be horse whipped for letting that poor dear just run around.

Owner: Wheres my cat?
Me: What cat, there was a cat nearby? Hrmmm I'll have to look around for him...:D

Somehow I don't think I would have turned him loose either ;)

He sure is a cutie pie. I don't understand how people can just let their cats roam either, but people do...

However, the biggest part of this post that I noticed is "I want another cat so bad. Didn't realise how much I missed having one till I had this one in my room."

Yes, you need to get another kitty! Repeat after me, I need a cat, I need a cat, I need a cat. Repeat 10 times to yourself 3 times a day.
;) :p :D
