Cat Found Alive At WTC

A co-worker told me today that a cat was found alive beneath the rubble of the World Trade Center after 18 days . . . can anyone verify this? If it is true, I'm sure the discovery must have really uplifted the rescuers' spirits. :)

spencer, yes it was on the news...day before yesterday.....persian found at ground zero....and her name is " precious"....how appropriate that she is found alive from the rubble....when we just lost another "precious" to old age and the bridge...it was wonderful to hear of this precious life being found when all hope is slipping away from there.,.....the deli dog

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU for that link!!!! What a wonderful, wonderful ending to such a tragic event. That POOR kitty. I hope she is just happy as a clam right now with her humans. What a tear jerker that story was.. but a GOOD one!

Gosh . . . what a miraculous survival! :D I'd LOVE to read or see an interview with the surely :eek:astounded :eek: rescuers that discovered this blessed family of felines . . . any more links??
