Hi everyone!

The collapse of the twin towers was a terrible catastrophe for mankind, but also
for the pets living in that area. Please visit the following website to learn
more about it:

Thank you very much!

Oh yes, my Luna is a big girl now! :)

Thanks for the link, I'm glad that so many people care about these poor animals. At least a few of them are with their owners again, and others have been adpopted from the shelters. Ans this story about that persian kitty they've rescued from Ground Zero is just heartwarming! :)

Oh, I haven't heard about these red Persians, how sad! :(

You're right, a video of Precious and her mommy would be nice, but alone the picture is so heartwarming! I've tried to imagine how I would feel if it was my Luna! Guess I would be so happy that couldn't stop crying! And how happy the kitty must have felt that moment when she was in her mommie's arms again and safe! :)

Thanks for posting the website, Kirsten! I hope and pray they are locating all the pets before it is too late . . . finding Precious gives a glimmer of hope.

I knit Snuggles (URL is http://www.h4ha.org/snuggles ) for cats and donate them to shelters, and there was an effort within the Hugs For Homeless Animals project to knit booties for the SAR dogs, but then one of the pet supply companies sent a whole bunch so they aren't needed afterall.

I understand the NYC shelters are overwhelmed with callers wanting to adopt rescued pets that have lost their guardians in the tragedy. God bless them all.

Luna has grown up to be quite a beautiful young lady! :)
