Andy Proposed!!

He totally caught me off guard!

Andy and I were in St. Catharines this past weekend helping a friend with a Fan Film.

We were going to head home Monday evening but decided spur of the moment to swing by Niagara Falls since everything film wise was done and over with. It was already 5 p.m. on Monday and we weren't sure if we should go but figured, why not?

The day was beautiful and the Falls were gorgeous as always.

Andy and I decided to do the 'Journey Behind the Falls' tour.

We went to the observation deck first, then the tunnels behind the Falls, and then back out to the observation deck.

Andy told me that seeing me with the Falls in the background, laughing and smiling, he decided ring or no ring, he was going to ask me because he knew right then that he couldn't let me get away. He made me cry happy tears with everything he said and asked if I'd marry him.

I said yes!

Now his quest for what he considers the perfect ring to "seal the deal" will continue. :)

My sister is getting married next year so Andy and I have already decided we're going to shoot for a 2006 summer date. :D

One friend asked if Andy was going to dress as Spiderman and me as Mary Jane. I wonder if Marvel would let us...... ;) *lol!*

I'm not sure if Kia would make a good ring bearer. She's easily distracted. ;) Or my luck...she'd eat the rings. :rolleyes: :p :D But the idea has crossed my mind. :)

I was just so worked up by the falls themselves and how awesome it was on the lower area we were at, and you were smiling so big and your eyes were glowing (when we were in the tunnel behind the falls) and I decided then I'd do it back outside right in the elements, and at the moment I did it, we were the only ones on the platform so it was very private-- cause I caught it between the moments when other people were out there too.
