makin' a quilt??

Does anyone know if it's easy to make a quilt? I really want a bedspread/cover for my bed to keep the dog hairz out but there aren't any I like with dark colors. Thanks.

When I was in the US I also was close to starting (regarding the fact that I am manually challenged I decided that I'd better not) and I saw that there are many books for all levels.

I love quilts but I will never be able to make my own:(

If you don't want to make a full quilt, you can make a duvet cover which you put over the quilt you already have. This way you can just take it off and wash it as often as you need.
