Mac was getting picked on today, as sometimes happens to the bottom of the pack dogs. Chase was just being a big jerk and Ozzy wasn't defending Mac the way he usually does. Even dogs have bad days!
So after some coaxing and a bunch of Rollover chunks, I convinced Mac to leave the pen with me. After making sure the bullies hadn't hurt him, we went for a little walk.

Let's go that way, Mom. There are squirrels over there!
When we got home from investigating the walking trail, Mac got put out on the front tie-out--it's a clothesline trolley and gives them tons of room.

This lead to a long play session with Daisy.

Look, I made a new friend!
Right now he's in the porch eating a pig's ear. I have to keep finding stuff for him to chew on or he's trying to find a way out of the house. He's not comfortable inside, but I'm going to try and have him sleep in tonight.
