Tess got cloned!!

Magnus got this porcelain cat from my sister as a birthday gift and it’s supposed to be a copy of Tess. The woman who made it made a good job, so good the kitties got very suspicious. They really had to take a close look to make sure it wasn’t a real cat. (Sorry the pics are blurry.)

....and I too have that same kitty at my house. It was a gift from a German exchange student, years ago! My cats could care less about it now!

Wow! Tess is really curious, and her tail is getting a little bigger, isn't it? She had to have help from Costello to figure that one out!! :D It's a beautiful figure and very lifelike.

We have a couple of African bronze leopards. When they first came in the house the cats checked them out thoroughly. They noticed that the fragrance in the tail area was not real:D And so they understood they were only copycats:D

Too funny! I got a stuffed iguana (almost life sized, but a bizzare shade of green). Carmen the iguana didn't like it, so I gave it to Spencer the dog to play with. The cats spent several days suspiciously skulking around it waiting for it to do something! Spencer managed to rip it's eyes out, and started on the stuffing...it's had a proper burial now in the trash. It's so funny how they all react to something new like that! Cute ceramic kitty!:D
