I finally got pierced! *pics*

I've been wanting piercings for a long time. I finally got paid yesterday so I figured I should spoil myself.

I was a nervous wreck on the way to the shop but once I got there, it was smooth sailing. :D

Naomi (Nomilynn) and Nathan were there. Naomi was the official picture taker while I got pierced. Here they are..

They actually didn't hurt as much as I thought they would. The eyebrow was a piece of cake. I didn't know the needle went in.. I thought it was still outside, just touching my skin. :p The lip hurt for a few seconds but it didn't hurt too much.

Both piercings look great! I want to get my lip pierced too, except I want mine done in the middle.

I have my tongue pierced, and it didn't hurt at all, except for maybe the next couple of days afterwards.

Ohhh I'm getting woozy just thinking about it! I'm glad you went and got it done and are happy with it! I think I'll steer clear of the needles though :D (funny coming from me .. when I have to give myself 4 shots a day)

I m with jenfer and Aly I'm glad your happy but Like AlyI (not yet thank goodness) well have to look forward to daily needles. I will stay with the double ears for now. (just had the 2nd ones done last summer after 5 years debating with my self)

Get a pump girl! Besides, pericings aren't like diabetic shots - it's just a one time dealie. Hey - if I can get piercings, so can you :p If I come see you in Texas I'll drag you somewhere to get a new one :p We can get an extra needle together!

What's an industrial piercing? and a 16ga????????????? Sounds like something that would be PAINFUL. Ouch.

Oh, hehe, well how to describe the industrial, I'm gonna search for a picture. As far as the ga. that stands for gauge or the thickness of the earring. The smaller the gauge the bigger around the earring is. Oh and tappering it means to make the hole that's in your ear big enough for the larger earring to go into. lol Like stretching, :) Ugh, that sounds bad, it's really not bad at all. lol

16Ga (Gauge) is the thickness. Both of mine are 14Ga (I think? LOL). I found a chart that explains it better:

I one day want to get my ears pierced and guaged as well. I don't want anything more than a 0 guage though. :p

I like the indy piercing too... my friend had it but it got horribly infected so she took it out.

Boy are you a brave girl!! I got 2nd holes in my ears and was a chicken at that!!! Had more infections with them so let them grow shut.

I had my eyebrow pierced in college - I loved it!!!

I had my eyebrow double pierced for a couple of years but unfortunately they wanted to migrate. I removed one of them and let it heal and had it redone, but over time it began to move out again so I took them out for good.
I also have my nostril pierced. It is an easy peircing. I don't always wear the jewelry in it now, but it hasn't closed up so I do put a stud in once in a while for grins.

I'm not sure about the lip but I really like the eyebrow.
My friends sister wants her nose done & my friend likes the chin.
I've only had my ears done.
(I like tatoos better myself.)
But, you did great.....way to go if that's what you wanted!!!!
