Does anyone know what a good treatment for sore hocks is?? I noticed my Austin seems to be getting them on his hind feet. Not sure how to treat it, in my 10 years of having rabbits I've never come across a case of this before. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

I've heard that you can use Preperation H or Neo-sporin...?

I would use neosporin and put a clean board in for the bunny to sit on till healed. Keep it clean or else you'll have a sicker bun.

Okay thanks! :)

I'm not sure what caused the sore hocks. He was on a solid floored cage with wood shavings, and his hutch is always quite clean...:p Any how hopefully he's feet will get better soon, doesn't look like he has too bad of a case! Lucky I caught it right away I guess!

I agree with the neosporin, that helped my friends bun. My little guy gets a new towel once a month to sit on so his little paws don't get sore.
