Momma Johanna is in the Labor & Delivery Suite -

and * W A I T I N G * for the Lil Guy to begin to make his *Appearance*...

She sounds GREAT - has Mom, Sis, and a Friend with her -

And they're all ... * W A I T I N G * ...

The White Coats have turned up the heat in the oven a bit ...
but so far Jonah must like it where he is...
and isn't gonna BUDGE before dinner!

And if he doesn't hurry up - he'll miss September 7th as his BIRFday!

ALL IS WELL - no cause for worry!

Joh says "HI!" to all the Pet Talkers -
and Appreciates all the Kind Thoughts and PURRayers being sent her way!

Joh and Jonah will be moved to a Maternity Room soon after he's born -
and we'll post an address ya'll can use if you'd like to
send her a *Congratz* Card.

WOW!

Thank you ALL for such wonderful messages, well wishes and prayers. It means the world to both Jonah and I.

It was the experience of a lifetime, one that I won't bore you with all the details. Suffice to say, Little Jonah is perfectly healthy, and home with me and the states, where he belongs. I wanted to quit halfway through, and thank GOD for my sister and mom encouraging me.

I got home last night, and really haven't rested too well, despite Lillycat's constant care and support. Did you know if you have a baby you get free meals from your mom? The states aren't really too concerned with things. Dakky has spent most of his time underneath the bassinet, sound asleep. He stays in the lower part while I wheel Jonah from one room to the next. Georgia has sniffed his head a couple of times, and Tex just wants to be fed. I think the cats will be just fine, and all will still realize they, along with Jonah, light up my life.

Jonah WAS a big boy, wasn't he? He measured 20.5 inches, has the longest fingers in the world (thinking pianist), lots of dark hair, and chipmunk cheeks!

I promise you I will get photos up SOON. It was all I could do to log on and thank you all for being such a blessing to me. I will respond to the pms when I get some more time.

I keep coming back to look at sweet Jonah. :D He has the cutest little hands in the WORLD. *sigh* I want to hold him.

Johanna, who does he resemble the most in the family? I can see some of *you* in him, but I think its too early to tell. He's such a beautiful baby. A lot of babies aren't that cute right when they're born, but Jonah is SO beautiful right from the start. I can't wait to see pics of him as he grows up. Its so amazing....if you think of how little babies develop in their mommy's womb, and enter the world as little human beings after 9 months. So amazing. Such a miracle. I know he's going to be a huge blessing in your life.

One week old... WOW, how you doing Joh? ANY sort of schedule yet? We all think puppy breath and kitty tummies smell special (and they DO!!) but there is nothing on this fair earth as sweet as the scent of ones own sweet little baby. Check in when you can and take good care of BOTH of you.

One week new! We are both doing fine, and Jonah had his first md appointment yesterday. He hasn't lost too much weight, is healthy, and peacefully swinging in his swing. I am mostly tired, but, managing. Our schedule consists of feedings every 3 hours or so, lots of naps, lots of nappies (he he he), and quiet time. Really, life should always be this blissful.
