Blue flowers on my balcony

They are so beautiful this year, I thought I had to share. They only bloom one day. In the evening they get violet and shrink. But there are new ones every morning:

They do look like morning glories. Those always make me think of my grandparents who grew them. Such an intense and gorgeous blue!

Those are such a beautiful shade of blue, Barbara. They remind me of my honeymoon in Hawaii where I saw those growing wild all along the side of the roads. I've never seen that color quite as bright, until now!

Gorgeous!! We used to have a few shades of Morning Glories when I was little and I always enjoyed seeing them each morning. We have a lot of purple ones in the neighborhood. Its such a pretty, happy flower. :)
