Yesterday I purchased "Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Vol. 1." It's a cartoon series on Cartoon Network's late-night programming, Adult Swim. Very funny stuff.

How about you? Anyone bought any good DVDs lately?

Some may not think this is good ;) but the last DVD i bought was Ferris Buellers day off :D. I love it and any other movie from around that time, i cannot wait to get the Breakfast Club on DVD.

We buy at least 1 dvd a week, or so. (Which explains why we have close to 300 right now.. i should start charging rental fees! :rolleyes: ) I think the last one we bought was Steel Magnolias. SUCH a good movie! I think we got Where the Red Fern Grows at the same time. Total tear jerker!

I was going to buy the Great Outdoors (John Candy, Dan Ackroyd Spl?) but when i went back to get it the next day they were all sold out. :( Now i have to wait another 2 weeks for it to come in.

Is it any good? I LOVE ATHF! The last DVD I got was Star Trek: Nemisis, my roomate just bought Nothing But Trouble (FUNNY!) and Hellboy and my BIL got Ghost Dog and South Park the movie. I want to find the NBC version of Brave New World. I know they make it on DVD I just can't find it anywhere.

Yeah it's good! Haven't watched the whole thing yet, but it's great having it on DVD. I think there's some behind-the-scenes type stuff too, I'll have to let you know how that is once I get a chance to watch it. At Best Buy, they were selling Vol. 1 for $24.99, Vol. 2 for $25.99, or both together for like $52.99. Cheaper to buy them separate!! :)

I almost got the Will Ferrell Best of DVD the other day, it was on sale for like $10 at Best Buy. National Velvet's such a good movie! I have Ferris Bueller on VHS. ;) And A Walk To Remember - I watched that one night on HBO at like 1 AM, alone - talk about crying my eyes out!!! :eek:

The last DVD I bought was the best of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. season 1-4. I like the show, but I don't really want to spend $40 on a full season and these were $5 a piece so I just picked up 4 of them.

That's ok though...I don't find TV that great, and we don't have that many DVDs or VHSs either. There are SO many other great things I like to do! (though I will admit I enjoy watching movies on Friday night after a LOOOOOONG week of school!) ;)
