I am interested in hearing from anyone whose cat has suffered a saddle thrombosis, resulting in limb paralysis, or cardiomyopathy. I am considering developing a web page that owners can refer to when deciding on treatment options or whether to euthanize. I would like to develop a database of case studies of cats who have successively recovered from the thromboembolism, or who have successivefully avoided further clots with medication, herbs or other supplements. I am interested in both traditional veterinary treatment protocals and alternative (Holistic). My own experience indicates that few vet's are aware of any cat's recovering from a ST, and so recommend euthanisia as a matter of course.
