gmail?????

I understand that it is a form of email but what exactly is different about it? Like what are the pros- and cons etc. I'm just curiouse. Is it just another email address like a yahoo typ or is it completely different?? I'm confused.

It's a regular email account but it has some extra features. Mainly it allows you 1000 megabytes of space, I think yahoo gives you 100 and hotmail give you something like 5. So you are able to save a lot more messages and you don't have to delete them. It also has a search feature on it to make it easier to search for an old email. It does a lot of other really neat things too.
