Out on the trail

We went for a walk today. We had mostly stopped doing this when Bandit got hurt 4 years ago, he couldn't do this type of walk and we didn't think it was fair to leave him behind and just take the other two. It was nice to get out on the trail again.

They had fun and so did we. Bandit and I used to walk this part of the park almost every day and so it was a little sad for me to be there without him. They were off leash here, but we made sure no one else was around. It used to be really empty out at this park (3000 acre state park) but they started developing new trails so no place is really safe for off-leash.

they look like they had fun.. i wish i had somewhere to go for off-leash adventure.. Bouncer my wired fox terrier he is a type of dog that will dart off if he can.. but i know ziggy my beagle would have a blast to go on a trail off leash

Looks like it was a fun hike!!

I'm sure it was bittersweet, without your Bandit there, but just knowing that Gandy and Rocky enjoyed themselves was probably a great feeling.

You need to share more pictures of them!!

Oh you can bet Bandit was trotting right along side you, tongue hanging out, ears flooping about with a big doggie grin on his face....

Beautiful dogs! I'm sure it was sad without Bandit. They can never leave your heart, though. You'll see him again.
