Katie's First Post Op Visit....(Pics)

Hello All!

Just wanted to update you on my Katie Girl. She had her first visit with the doc today and all is well. She was such a good girl. I was a little worried about how she would react about going back to the vet after everything she has been through but she was a real trooper. I'm proud of her. The doc even said she was being good. She had her staples removed today from her knee and just stood there while the vet snapped them out. The doc seemed real impressed with that. She was due for all of her yearly shots so she had all of those too. She had her stool checked, heartworm test plus her temp. taken and all is well. By the end of the exam she was getting a little tired of it all and was starting to hide behind me. She is extremely tired now. This was the first time she had been anywhere since her surgery. I was actually a bit worried when we got home. She just seemed exhausted and flopped down and was breathing super hard. Kind of scared me. She is calm now and sleeping peacefully.

Yep, she's cute even with fur missing and a Frankenstein leg :p Glad the visit went well. Duke had his yearly one yesterday also. He had an ultrasound of his bladder and I got a pic. Though that was a hoot. Your PM box is full. In other general, I have an answer to your last PM.

LOL...OH MY....LOL.....that little girl is keeping me busy!!! I have to keep my eye on her all the time. I did not realize what a great puppysitter Katie was..hehehe. I am constantly chasing Tori around. I don't think she ever stops. She has a thing for empty toilet paper rolls and always seems to know when there is one in the bathroom trash can. The other night when I was talking to Anna on messenger I had to keep typing in "brb" because I was constantly chasing Tori and retrieving whatever she was trying to chew and giving her one of her own chew toys...lol. She gets frustrated because big sis can't play and will give out some sharp whiney bark like noise once in awhile as a matter of fact she was just doing that and Alden told her she better cut it out...lol. She just looks at him like "What, Who Me?". Too funny. What can I say except I LOVE IT!!. She is my cute little husky girl :)

Katie and I say thanks everyone! All hugs have been given and Katie would like to send out a great big wet sloppy kiss to her special guy, Rocky! ;)

I think its cause her fur is starting to grow back & cause her fur is white, its turning the spots lighter & lighter in colour :)

RobiLee - Amazing that she was good at the vet, right? I was absolutely shocked when Smokey was GREAT at the post op visit. Went "behind the scenes" with no problem at all. I think it's cuz all the girls give him so much lovin' back there...

Anyway, I'm glad things are healing up nicely. Feels good to put all that WHAT'S WRONG?! worry behind you, right?
