I was reading in a magazine while waiting at the doctor's office about plastic surgery and what can be expected for results. It said to get an idea of what your skin might look like in 15-20 years - to lean over towards the ground and look straight DOWN into a mirror. This is SCARY!!! To get an idea of what a complete face lift can do, lie down on a bed and look straight UP into a mirror:) This I like:) No, I am NOT getting any sort of plastic surgery but it was fun. look here - this is ME as usual:]

I don't look like anyone's Grandma!!:D That was fun. Try it!! Pictures would be fun if you feel brave. I wouldn't dare post the down picture though. It looked -oh my - too scary:eek:

I remember the first time I inadvertantly looked at my face in the mirror while I was bending over. It was frightening! Why was my face actually hanging down like that? You need to put a warning on this for anyone over 50...something like.. Don't try this without your doctor's consent.

Thanks Soledad but I don't feel very lovely:rolleyes: I am feeling frumpy and like a Grandma!! Kim - yes it is me - that lay down trick is pretty amazing isn't it? The bags and sags just go away! YOU are probably too young to have any! I have been buying and *trying* to use some cosmetics and next Thursday I am getting a new haircut and new highlights. OH! I even got new glasses! Missy reminded me I had been wearing the same frames for like 20 years or so? I was hoping they would come back in style. Here we go:
old frames:

Deb, I LOVE your new glasses. They are very sleek and stylish.. they give you an instant facelift! LOL

Missy is a good daughter watching out for her mom. I wish I could get my mom to change her glasses style... but she seems to be emotinally tied to those plastic frames! LOL

You know what is funny Kim? These little glasses I have now are just like what I wore in college in the 70's! Back them they were "granny glasses" - wire rims were WAY COOL!!:D (or was it groovy?)
I AM saving my big bug eyes glasses because I just KNOW they are coming back! Since my prescription has not changed, I will be at the top of fashion when they are back in fashion;)
