Gate (the San Francisco Chronicle) is my newspaper here in S.F. and pics like this are very common - seeing a firefighter administering CPR, oxygen or gentle care to a pet who has been rescued in a fire. I don't know if every firefighter has a heart of gold like the one in the picture, but I suspect the majority of them do.

That is such a sweet and touching photo and story. I REALLY love the picture. That firefighter all tired out - but gently giving oxygen to the mamma cat while kitten looks on - so sweet!!

What a sweet picture! It's really moving to see this brave man taking the time to revive a kitten's mother:) I can tell he has a great heart! Lovely picture and happy ending! :D I hope they all got great furrever homes!
