What are your cats hobbies? Running, pouncing, playing with toys??

as in other posts i've written: he loves tipping water glasses and terrorizing my two finches. Zezu was running circles under the bird cage yesterday, it was the funniest thing.

My kitten, Callie, is 3 months old and as soon as she hears the faucet in the bathroom turn on she DARTS to the bathroom, jumps onto the toilet and on the counter. She sticks her paws and head under the running water and plays in it - then will sit there for 10 minutes drinking from the running water!! Too cute! She also likes to sit on the edge of the tub while someone is taking a bath or shower.

My cat Tiger LOVES to play fetch. She has one ball in particular that she likes to play with and she will always put the ball in her mouth, find me and drops the ball at my feet. I'll throw the ball, she chases it and brings it back to me. My friends and family are amazed by this talent as their dogs won't even do this....

My cat Boogie is a crazy kitty!! He loves licking, (including himself, me, and everything else!) chasing string, just ALL kinds of things. He also loves sleeping. The only thing he likes about water is drinking it. He is very curious too.

If Mimi has a hobby besides cuddling, then it is HUNTING!!! Its spring, and I guarantee you I will start getting nice presents on my front steps, her normal dumping grounds. She's gone as large as a rabbit http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/frown.gif, small as voles and mice (which doesn't bother me nearly as much), and I have seen a headless lizard or too also.

Butter is still new to me, so I don't know all of his hobbies, but his main one right now it to tackle the catnip mouse that hangs from the doorknob in the hall. That poor mouse has really been through it! Other than that, his main goal in life is to torment poor Mimi. He doesn't do anything to her, just stares her down with those blue eyes. He is really a curious, fun boy. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

Boogie also, LOVES hunting! In fact, (this is really gross) he caught a chipmunk yesterday! He actually PLAYS with chipmunks, and when he's played with them so long that they're half dead, he eats them. YUCK!!! Poor chipmunks! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/frown.gif I tried to save it yesterday, but Boogie got mad at me. (Meraw...)
I'll be getting some more pics of Boogie in soon.

I forgot about Chipmunks!! They are one of Mimi's favorites! We have a surplus of them around here, and if she crosses the street to work the woods in the neighbors woods, she will almost always bring me a chipmunk. Yuck! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/eek.gif I love chipmunks too. I'm waiting for a squirrel, but hoping that if Mimi hasn't caught one in her previous 12 years, then the squirrels are safe. Now, if Butter doesn't chase them....we'll be ok! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

The wildest things my cats have caught are crickets in the basement. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif Their main hobbies are watching the birds come to the feeder, eating and sleeping. Andy watches TV frequently (especially if it is an animal program). He also plays in his water dish and washes his feet in it and licks them dry. Lately, their big hobby is playing with a new puppy. They get LOTS of exercise these days!

Walking on the top of the door! I couldn't believe my eyes when Luna jumped onto the kitchen door for the first time (from a small cupboard behind the door) and tried to balance there! Meanwhile she wants me to place a toy there, then she jumps up to the door in highspeed and catches the toy with her mouth or paws it down! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif
(btw, you can see her first kitchen door experience on page No. 8 in the photo section on http://www.lunas-little-world.de.vu !)
