Hello, everyone…I had a funny experience with Charlie yesterday and I thought I would share it with you. I'm sure you all know what this is like.
This is inspired by Pam’s very funny post of Dec 18 entitled “Wrapping Presents With the Help of Your Cat”.
This one is called Making the Bed With the Help of Your Cat…
1-Take fresh sheets out of linen closet and place on nightstand.
2- Go back, take cat out of linen closet and close closet door.
3- Take comforter out of comforter cover, fold comforter and throw dirty cover on floor.
4-Remove flat sheet, take cat out of comforter cover on floor and throw flat sheet on floor.
5- Remove fitted sheet:
a)Pull end off one corner of mattress, let cat play with elastic-bound end for a minute or so http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif , take cat off bed.
b)Repeat with three remaining corners
6-Untangle cat from flat sheet on floor, and throw fitted sheet on floor with other dirty linens.
7- Put clean fitted sheet on mattress:
a)Stretch two top corners of sheet over corners of mattress and tuck under.
b)Pull cat out from underneath fitted sheet and quickly pull end of sheet to other side of mattress.
c)Stretch ends of sheet over corners of mattress, tuck under and smooth sheet.
d)See moving lump under sheet, pull two corners of sheet up and scoop cat out from underneath.
e)Put cat outside bedroom and close door.
f)Slip ends of fitted sheet back under mattress.
8-Realise that you have to go to the bathroom and just can’t “hold it” anymore.
9-Use bathroom, take cat’s head out of toilet before putting lid down.
10-Go back to bedroom and look around to make sure that cat has not snuck in, but neglect to look under bed.
11-Quickly close door.
12-Shake out top sheet and lay over bed.
13-Tuck bottom corners under and fold top corners over.
14-Crawl under sheet and pull cat out from underneath.
15-Pull pillows out of pillowcases and throw cases on floor.
16- Put pillow in fresh pillowcase.
17- Pull cat out of pillowcase and lay pillow on bed.
18-Realise that one pillowcase is missing and return to linen closet to get it.
19- Put second pillow in case and arrange on bed.
20- Put comforter in cover and put on bed.
21-Jump into shower and lather body with soap.
22- Hear banging noises coming from linen closet.
23- Come running out of shower, open door of linen closet and watch as <insert color of cat> furry streak flies out of closet.
24- Remove cat from laundry bin and put dirty linens in.
25- Lay exhausted head on pillow and prepare to go to sleep, only to realize that there is a cat’s rear end in your face!
