That is the day Sadie's picture is featured on the Dog Fancy 2005 Year in Box calender!!!

I sent a picture of each of the dogs in last summer before the deadline for the 2004 calender. When we didn't hear anything, I assumed non ofthem were chosen. Then today we got a padded envelope inthe mail and we got an advanced copy of the calendar.
I knowit is sort of a silly little thing, but I was really excited about it.

That great! Congrats! I've always wanted to submit the kitties for the cat of the day calander but I have never gotten around to it. This year I'm going to have to get the doggie desk calander for my computer desk :). But once I hit December 14 I might not want to change it for the rest of the year!

p.s. Can you post the picture that will be on the calender?

Here is the pictures that will be in the calendar. It is actually sorta old, and the quality here isn't as good since it was scanned in. It was taken before we got Cincy, so Sadie was abou ta year old (she'll be 4 in October)

Wow! That's just great. I can't help but feel a bit envious. I would love to see my Duke in a calendar like that for everyone to love. How do you go about submitting pics for something like that? Congrats!! If they send you the calendar page in advance, we'd like to see it.

I actually have a copy of the whole calendar. I'll see if I can take a digital with out breaking it down too much.

There is a submission form in the calendar when you buy one. It does say photocopies are okay, so if you want, I can send you a copy. I think they have to be in ny June of each year...

I usually buy mine at Media Play, but they sell them at most book stores, etc. I often wait til after Christmas cause then they are about 50-60% off :)
