What do you think about Ohio's "Summer"

For those of you that don't live in Ohio.
Today's high in North East Ohio is 68!!! Yeah.... 68!!!!
It's the middle of August... and it feels like Mid October!!!

It's cloudy and it's going to stay like this for another week!
We've been having highs in the low/mid 70's for the past week or so already!!!

Now... I don't mind it at all. My fav season is Fall. So I have NO problem with it, but what do the other Ohioian's think about the weather?

I grew up in Dayton, and I sometimes miss the Ohio weather. Down here in Kentucky, it gets a bit more humid, and my allergies are 10x worse now that I live here. But it's cold here today too (right now it's 67 F with 59% humidity). I like it. It's supposed to be in the 70s this weekend, and mid-80s next week. :D I like hot weather!! :)

Actually it's been a VERY mild Texas summer this year. It's only supposed to get to 88 instead of 108 today! :D

Well, here is NW Minnesota, it was in the 40's the other night!:eek: I actually had the furnace on, I was freezing!!!. Now today it's fairly pleasant, sunny and in the 60's, so I hope we're on a warming trend!!!

I live in TN and our high yesterday was 65 degrees. That just isn't right. We will probably have the hottest fall on record now.

pitc9 I love this cooler weather! I wouldn't mind a little warmer but I hate hot weather! Fall is also my favorite season. I also love snow, I get cussed at a lot for liking it though :D

It has been a strange summer here in Ohio. I can't believe how cool it's been:eek:

Not that I mind the cool weather, but I would like to use my pool:p

It seems like when I was a kid, we could count a few days here in Ohio to hit 100. I don't miss that. However, a few +80 days in August so we could take the dogs swimming would be nice. Personally, I love it between about 65 and 80, but in the summer a few warmer days would be nice.

That's usually how our summers are here in Washington, and believe me, I WISH this summer were like that. It has been WAY too hot here for my liking recently. IMO, western Washington weather is NOT supposed to reach above 85 degrees, that is simply unacceptable. I do not like hot weather. Send some of that refreshing 68 degrees out west, pleeeeease :D

Well, since I HATE HOT, I am loving but I know come Sept when the schools go back it will be sweltering, I am sure!!!

I love ohio's summer!

I love how it's nice and cool, good temp around 70

But something I DON'T like is, how sometimes it gets up to the 80s and is very humid. Otherwise, the weather is great!


RobiLee, I think so too. I remember once during winter, we didn't get snow at all, but other times we get piled with snow.

Don't forget, this is a Pittsburgh summer, too. Sunday, in the middle of August, I had my CAR HEATER on! This is AUGUST???
