Well, buncha' people requested that I post more pictures of the mischief and the kitties, their wish as been granted. I'm not sure if I already posted these already or not, LOL. :o

Back in July we were up at our cottage for a fishing contest and the ratties came with us fishing. We "beached" the boat on shore and fished from a sandy beach, so I brought them with. It was lots of fun and they went swimming too!

I didn't know rats swam... and when I saw the pic of you reaching out to one of them (sorry, don't know who... maybe Phoebe?) I was like, "OMG THE RAT IS IN THE WATER!!!!" Lol... adorable pics, Laura.

I cannot tell you how much I love ratties! I want one so bad... maybe someday! I hope Cori doesn't mind me sharing, but her Spencer has a SANCTUARY in her closet... with a cage of course, but its all set up in her closet... I would LOVE to do that... have my rattie have his own place... *dreamy sigh* I wish....

Yep, when I'm home I leave the cage door open and let him roam around in my closet... It was basically empty anyways, and I just took everything out that was in there. And put toys, and a little rat bed, and a litter pan on the floor for him....

He usually stays in his cage though. He's kinda shy, and doesn't like venturing out of his comfy hammock... Lol.:)

I'll try to take some pics of the setup after I go get some new batteries.

My girls do, and it is an excellent way to exercise rats too, especially senior rats, it keeps them in shape and limber. :D
