I would like you to meet Lexi. Her Mom and Dad are on vacation and I have the honor of waiting on Her Highness while they are away.

Lexi is a rescue. She was one of 42 cats that were taken from a home on the east coast for unsanitary conditions.

Isn't she a beauty?

Karen, they say she is a Snowshoe Siamese.

They have an alarm, so while I am fooling with it to turn it off, Lexi is just talking up a storm.

My friends said she probably wouldn't eat much, so not to worry.

The food dish is empty and the litter box is full............and she really knows how to communicate about the POUNCE. I have to laugh, because it is so clear NO, NOT THE CATNIP, NO, NOT A TOY.........POUNCE!! NOW!!

Her name is Lexi...............

Slick, Lexi is Elsa's Grandcat. They live about ten minutes by car from my home. (Elsa is a good friend that attended the BBQ).


Next year, Janice and her husband will be sure to attend the BBQ. They had a business committment that came first this year.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. It is a lot of fun taking care of her because she is so happy to see me and gives ME as much attention as I give her. She snuggles right up on my lap as I brush her.
