:) Maybe it's just a summer time thing..you know...Lazy days of summer? Any way, that's really cute. Thanks for sharing the catitude!

I think it's not that you are boring at all, but your timing may be off. It could be that you need to time your photo shoots after the early afternoon nap and before the midafternoon and late afternoon naps. It's an important consideration!

I see those gorgeous blue eyes in that second picture. I like Amberlee's suggestion, it's all to do with the timing. Before you know it Logan, you will be showing those gorgeous kitty eyes in no time at all.:D

I think that sweet Buttercup is saying "Oh mama, I am so happy and comfortable with my life with you that I will honor you with a yawn!"

And Milly is saying..."Oh papa, how I love to gaze into your eyes! I cannot even be distracted by my mama."

Excellent point! Not boring, but soothing, calming, relaxing, meditative, peaceful! :D

You've released Buttercup's ZEN side, you creative woman, you!!!

LOL!!!! Butter has Zen????? OMG!!! And all this time, I thought he was peeved at me!!!! :p

He's a sweet boy and I did wake him up from his nap (as he was sleeping on the top of his daddy's car  ). Mimi was not interested in having her picture taken, regardless of the circumstance!!!! :)

Can you imagine this time two years ago the thought of 'Butter' and 'Zen' appearing in the same sentence???? The boy is mellowing!

snicker, snicker, snicker!!!

I think that they still both look gorgeous even though they didn't really want their pictures taken.:) You should start posting more pictures of them so they'll get used to the camera.;)

I couldn't agree more! :D Logan these are so cute and worth the wait! I think Scott is a saint to allow Butter on his car. That would certainly not endear Trevor or Andy to my hubby! His car is his castle! LOL! Keep that camera handy for more photo ops please!

Well now Logan, for some reason I sincerely doubt anything about you or your homestead could ever be considered "boring", even by a cat ;)

I see a hint of distain for picture taking in Butter's eyes. His *Bad Boy* image may be declining, but the attitude is still there. Also he certainly is dressed to the 9's. Handsome collar, Butter Man.

These were posted in the "eyes" thread yesterday, but I'll show them to you again, here. They absolutely refused to let me see their eyes! I'll catch them eventually, though.

Pam, I had to laugh at your comment about Butter being on Scott's car. :p He would rather sit on Daddy's car than mine because it is taller! LOL!!! And I think Scott would take a cat on the car over a cat sitting on his chest any day of the week! LOL!!! But he didn't complain last night about either, so that was good. :)

:D I am reading a book right now about the Nine Emotions of a Cat and just finished the section about eye contact. It made the point that eye contact for a cat means aggression and when they avoid your eyes, or look at you and close their eyes, they are really showing you affection! So, what AmberLee said above is correct! See? you aren't boring, you are loved!!

Dear Buttercup,

Mommas never really understand what goes on behind closed eyes...do they?
