We had our desert tortoise out in the cat pen and look what came to watch! It's a feral kitten that we will now attempt to trap and fix. I've been setting food out for him/her and it's starting to be a regular at our back door. Very skittish though and won't let us anywhere near it! This isn't a very clear picture since I had to take it from inside the window. Lot's of glare!

Maybe the Tortoise will help you trapping this skittish kitty! Great pic even with the glare :D!

The time to start worrying is when the stork starts dropping kittens from the skies like around here! Great picture of one curious tyke. Probably more that haven't appeared yet huh? And a mom too. *sigh* No rest for the weary

HOW CUTE!! He came to watch the tortoise! He still looks young enough that you might be able to calm him fairly easily. I hope anyway. Are you going to try or are you just going to put him back in the yard? You know...TNRTY (trap, nueter, return to yard)!

Gee, I never thought of luring cats into my yard with a TORTOISE at bait;)

Good luck catching Jetson - he/she looks really cute with those big inquisitive ears!!

Jetson will be among our other 2 yard kitties - Yardley & Mr. January, unless we can tame enough to turn over to the no-kill shelter.
