How I spend almost every weekend....
Group #1 today was comprised of Chum, Hobo, Earle and Daisy (the neighbor's dog)

And we're off..Hobo and Earle heading for the lake.

Earle takes a little dip. He's turned into a swimming fool this summer. Before he would never let his feet leave the lake bottom. Now he paddles all over!

Even Hobo went in today, but not for long and not very far.

Daisy is a total water dog.

Group #3 today was Chase, Goldie, Pacer and Daisy!
Pacer has to stay on his leash. He really wanted to go loose, but I'm not sure he'd come back yet.
Goldie won't leave the yard on a leash so I have to drive a short distance with her. Pacer is learning that the truck can mean something besides a trip to the vet!

Heading for the trail.

Group #4 today was Kayleigh and Heyoka and Daisy of course. She's lucky Kayleigh likes her as she usual doesn't tolerate other females. I have to drive with Kayleigh too as she isn't the kind of dog you can just walk anywhere! It's not so bad though as this is the trail I get to walk on..

And it leads to this view:

That little dog has to be in great shape. She comes on pretty much every walk I take, she runs behind my bike when I ride, chases the ATV when I train dogs on it, follows the sled for miles in the winter. I never get out of the yard without Daisy. Fortunately, she's a nice dog and doesn't cause any trouble.

kinda ticks me off that her owner doesn't take any responsibility for her. He's not abusive to her and she seems happy to see him when he comes to our place. They just don't spend any time with her and she's highly social. I think she goes home to sleep some nights, but I always leave the porch open for her, just in case. I'm considering putting her in one of my pens and seeing how long it takes him to notice she's gone.
