That is kind of a shocker but I guess the years of drugs and alcohol do catch up with you.

LOL!!!! Maybe some other than just the ones I mentioned are wondering about Rick James too!

Connie, he did a song called "Super Freak", probably in the 70's if I'm remembering correctly. That's all I know about him!

I just read that a minute ago. It said he had a stroke a few years ago. It sound like he didn't take care of himself. He was big into drugs, so what do you expect.
Still, he was a legend. I can't help it I keep thinking about that line from the Chapelle Show. "I'm Rick James, b****"

Aww.. That's kinda sad. We're losing all sorts of icon-type people this year. 56 is too young to go... :(

Do you guys realize it's been ALMOST a year since we lost John Ritter on Sept. 11th, he was only 54.

Ah yes, dear Rick James. I remember him so well.

You will be remembered Rick and keep on belting them out up there so we can hear them down here.
