Is Cody a pure bred Sibe? I've never seen one with her markings before! :D She's beautiful.

That's up for debate, Kay:) She was adopted from the county shelter and at the time, I had to pay an extra fee because she was a "pure bred" Red Sibe. Well, at the time, I knew little about breeds. But after a while, I came to see that other Sibes were not nearly as long and lean and tall, and look at those ears! Definitely GSD:D So, I've always thought she was a Husky/GSD mix but then my vet said just a few weeks ago..."No, she might be a pure bred!" lol! Either way, she's my beautiful Cody girl, mixed just for me:D Like Glacier says, any Husky x she refers to as an Alaskan Husky, so, I'll settle for that! Can't wait till Labor Day when the doggies can go back on the beach. Hope to get lots of pretty pics then! (Of the scenery, too:))

I can't believe we finally got a dose of Cody pictures--awesome!!
I just love the one of her eating the apple--looks like she really enjoys it!! And my girls know a thing or 2 about finding that shady spot in the summertime--it's all I can do to get them back inside once they're under their trees!!!

As far as that last picture goes--DEFINITELY suitable for framing!!!

I was just looking at some other husky pictures and was thinking that you are right Sandra, Cody's ears do look German shepherd like. I was also browsing through Dogster the other day as I do on occasion and was looking at some husky mixed with other alsation or wolfish looking breeds such as german shepherd or malamute, and I think the crosses tend to look more wolfish too, beautiful like your Cody girl!

Liana, she was adopted from the shelter as a pure bred Red Husky. But she's definitely got some GSD in her:) Eyes, coloring and markings are Husky but she's tall and lean and long like a GSD...and the ears, definitely GSD:D Thanks for all the compliments everyone:)

Of course, lots of people do sneak down to the smaller neighborhood beaches in the evening, but more than once or twice, I was singled out and reported, so...we'll wait till it's legal:D
