The last time that we saw her was the night before last. We didn't really notice because she hides often, especially when we have people over here. She is terrified of the outdoors, so she normally won't even dare set foot outside. I am really upset about it because she doesn't have the streetsmarts that Ron does. (Ron was an outside cat before we got him.) The few times that she has went outside, she hides in the bushes in total terror. She must be so scared right now. Only we can find her, and we will even have trouble catching her. Anyone else would mistake her for a feral by her looks and behavior.

I am really worried about her. Please pray for her safe return.

OMG, Tonya!!! :( I would freak out!! Hopefully she's hiding somewhere around the house so you'll be able to find her there. I guess when she's so scared outside, she wouldn't find her way back to the entrance door?

Best wishes from here for her safety and that you'll find her soon!!!

Most cats don't wander far. I lost a cat to an unattended doggy door and the cat stayed in the same block for about 3 months until I could trap her. She is pretty feral (still, after a year inside) and she had never been outside the house before. When I realized she was still around, I made sure food was available.

I hope Raven stays close until you can recapture her.

oh NO!! I know you must be in a panic:( But, one thing I have heard so many times is that a cat who is afraid of the outdoors will stay VERY close to home. I hope and pray that you find Raven very soon, Tonya.

I believe that she went out the front door because Ron wants to go outside really bad. He never begs to go outside and he's been scratching at the front door all day. I know she's hiding in a bush somewhere. We looked all around our house and the neighbor's houses. I'm don't normally allow Ron outside, but I just let him out right now. Hopefully he'll find her.

She's made it outside a few times before, and Ron has had to escort her back in. She's frozen stiff unless Ron's by her side. (And even then, she's still terrified.) I'm keeping my eye on Ron, and he's just sniffing around right now. When he shows some special interest, I'll go look to see if he found her. I just have to call out the magic word, "Food!" to get him back in. I get especially worried because we have a rat problem in our area, there is rat poison everywhere. :(

I just checked on him, he's basking in the sun. He hasn't been outside in a long time. Probably since last summer. I let him out a few times while I was working on the yard.

Here I thought he wanted to go out because he was worried about his sister, and he was just jealous that he wasn't out too. So, scratch that idea. I know that Raven would be to scared to eat, so I don't need to worry about the poison right away, but if she was gone for awhile, I might have a problem.

Go GET her, Ron!!

Tonya ~

Are you positive she really got "out"??

I not-so-fondly remember the feared *escape* of Boots from work...

After searching, posting Lost Kat posters, etc -
the KAT was found - HIDING  behind a desk...

He hadn't stepped a foot out of the building!

*Prayers* that Raven appears soon!!

They've done that to me before too! I've been all frantic, and then, eventually, I find them stretching and yawning in some odd cozy spot. But we've turned the house upside down. We even looked in the attic and under the house (because we had some pest work done yesterday.) She is deffinately not in the house. :( I'm getting more and more worried.

No raccoons or skunks here. I live in the middle of town, so there aren't any wild animals left. I went out after dark, but I'm going to go out again before bed. I swear I keep hearing her meows, but I think my head is playing tricks on me.

Tonya I'm so sorry you're going through this. I know the panic and fear and it just makes your mind think all kinds of crazy things. I just knew I would never see Leroy again and on day three his head popped up in the window!. We are pretty sure he got trapped in a garage or shed and couldn't get out until someone opened the door. If your neighbors have sheds or garages you may ask them to check for you. You know how cats hide and it would be easy to close them up and not even know they are there.
I think you have done everything else there is to do and the sad thing is now all you can do is keep calling her and praying. We are praying with you that Raven will get home soon!

Thank you. I had some guy call this morning from an area code back east, telling me that he saw my ad on petfinder. For just a small fee, I can have the best Pet Detective in the world come out to California and look for her. He sounded like a crook. I said no thanks.

I'm sorry to hear about Raven. You must be sick with worry. I hope she gets back soon, poor baby. She may well be stuck somewhere, that happened to our Daisy once. She was missing for four days and I thought I'd never see her again, but as soon as she got out of the garage, she came running home.

Sending lots of positive vibes your way.

any sign of her?????- if there are squeeze areas she can get through (fences, holes in garage doors etc, can you check for her color of cat hairs to see if any got caught at least for a sign of her? Cat nip sprinkled on the sidewalk at intermittent spots, like every 10 or 20 feet, on both sides of the street and sitting in a parked car with a flashlight just as dark is descending and the cats are beginning to come out has helped jan and i locate many a cat, they start wandering the streets and criss-crossing the streets and the nip slows them down so you can use the flashlight to see who is who. Also in driveways if you are within view as cats emerge from back yards or cross streets and run up driveways, cross through back yards then go down and out the next driveway. I just keep trying to think of SOMETHING!
