Please say hi to Dino! :) He's my step father's cat and he's got an entire forest as his territory! I took these photos this morning. He had found a nice place in the sun and visibly enjoyed it! :)

But don't let him fool you! He's a handsome guy and is acting sweet here. Only minutes later, he wanted to be cuddled - but if you do so, it's on your own risk! He's unpredictable!

As you can see, he has claws from hell and numerous times I had those in my legs and his teeth in my arms!

But he's looking so relaxed and peaceful here! :)

Aww Kirsten, what absolutely beautiful pictures of your step-dad's adorable cat Dino.

I have to say again, that your pictures are so detailed and clear that it makes me feel like I am right there with the cat.

EXACTLY what I was thinking!! Kirsten, what kind of camera do you have? You really should consider taking this up on the side. You could do some advertising as a pet photogropher.....you really are talented! Every picture captures the kitties perfectly....and their purrsonalities shine thru the pic.

Dino's a very handsome boy...but I did detect a nawtee glimmer in his eye!!

Thanks everyone! :)

Smokey the elder, I'm not sure, I never noticed an extra toe, but it could be... would be one more toe he can use against me! LOL

Equus217, you're right, he can be really nawtee! I'm calling him Dino the Meano because he's so mean sometimes and because he has hurt me really bad a couple of times.

And thanks about the nice remark on my photos. But I don't think I could have a career as a pet photographer! LOL I've sent some of my cat photos to a cat magazine lately for a contest, but they have all been rejected...

It looks like he's just stretching a bit and needing
at the same time.A little play maybe.

Oh, well, Dino's claws ARE dangerous! Don't forget he's living in the forest and has to keep up with the wild animals. He's been attacked by a buzzard twice - he's got the scars around his neck to prove it!

Poor guy.
I have my cat Penny that is just like that.
One minute she's purring and wanting to be patted,
and that's at anyone's own risk also.
I hold her with 2 hands and then pat her so
she doesn't turn on me.LOL

Kirsten, you take the best photos!:)
I love the one of Dino reaching out to the camera the best!
I do believe he has a couple of thumbs too!
He sure is a handsome black and white kitty even if he is a tough guy.;)
