I bought a green anole today, his? name is Zorro. at the petstore he was all brown in color, and when I placed him into his new home he turned bright green!!
:D

I just a have a question, i read that they dont need a lot of water. so just mist them down twice a day with a water sprayer??

Yep, you gotta mist them. I raised a bunch of green anoles back in 5th grade, I misted them real good about 3 times a day and they loved it. On really hot humid days, I gave them a little treat and misted them 4 times and they LOOOOVED that.

Green Anoles change their color to match their habitat. Some times they will be brown sometimes they will be green. Camoflauge.

YLL has it right. At work, we have a small water dish in with ours, plus they get misted 2-3x a day. Cute little buggers!

Anoles are cute, I used to love catching them when I was a kid. My dad didn't agree with me just taking them out of their homes for too long (not saying you did anything wrong at all because yours was store bought). Thankfully my dad was nice enough to let me keep them in a critter keeper over night though so I could watch and enjoy them. Then first thing in the morning I'd have to take it back to where I found it. I loved watching them change colors.
