I am going to try not to kill you all with pregnancy talk, but I can use help with baby names.
I already have my girl name picked out but I need boy names. I like names that are ethnic and/or unique but not to wierd. My only boy names that I like so far are Red, Rocco, Dane, but Mike doesn't like them. I need ideas.

Human baby! But apparently, I'm partial to pet names for human babies. Everyname I mention someone says "No, that sounds like a dog's name." lol. I did have a dream last night that I gave birth to a cat though. haha.

Great names, everyone...Keep going! I might not be commenting, but I am taking notes!
My girl name is Bonnie Jean, which is after my grandmother. I never thought I'd have such a normal name, but I love my grandmother dearly and it just seems right. I'd had Brooklyn Star picked out for the last time I was pregnant. But I lost that baby, so that is bad karma to use that name to me.

You all listed some great names that I haven't thought of...Alma, I'm going to let them stock pile before I pick my name. When I have a ton of ideas, I'll present them to Mike and let him decide.

I think Bonnie Jean is such a lovely name for a girl. :)
Boys names? All I can think of is the names given to the three baby boys in my street.
Next door on one side is Cole (Around 4 months old)
On the other side is Warren (4 weeks old on Tuesday)
And 3 doors down there is Harley (Around 3 months old)
(Gonna be some fun around here in a few years time! :D)
Oh, and, of course, my son's name, Jeff!

Thank you. :)
Your entire street is going to have their handsful in a few years! Three boys growing up together the same age. Uh oh! I smell trouble. hehe. The first thing I thought was The Little Rascals.

I have to have a name picked out beforehand...I'd be so scared that my baby went nameless for months. Besides, under all the medication and fatigue, my mom tried to name me Tuesday. Thank God there were conscious people there. I would have hated that name!

I always loved the name Braden...until recently. I put Jaden in a horrible daycare in June. He was only there for a month. I could go on and on, but to make a long story short, the daycare provider's 8 year old son, Brady, was the most perverted, disgusting, wimpy, bratty, gross kid that I have ever met in my life.
I love the name Brett, as well as Rhett.

My dad suggested Seven... odd, but unique. :)
Tonya
07-25-2004, 11:54 AM
Yeah, I really like Seven. My husband said "Why do you always have to be wierd?" lol. I just like wierd names!
I have to correct myself, that bad kid, his name was Brody, not Brady...but still to close...Makes me cringe to think of him.

Defiantly pick out the names ahead of time. Justin has 2 sisters, the first one came home with the name Melissa and after a couple weeks they changed it to Lindsay. His second sister came home without a name she was just "baby girl Blake" for about a week, until they decided on Diana.

I have a friend named Jase! (just a different way to spell it!) People don't pronounce it wrong as frequently as they would if it was spelled the other way....just a thought, but, it's a really cool name. I've always liked these.......

Just wanted to let you know that I *think* we agreed on a first name. I was on demeral last night when we discussed it (another migrane  ). So...I have to reconfirm with hubby that he wasn't just humoring me...that he truly likes the name too. lol.
Anyways...the little boy name is Jack. Not to wierd, but it's a name you don't hear much anymore. :)
