Seeing Aly's reaction, I don't think I'll click on the link right now, before bedtime.

OMG, I saw the links in Cat General but didn't have the heart to click on them right now. God, I am so glad I quit breeding!!!! That is just horrible. The puppy from the first litter looked just like my Freckles. :( The last photo on just one litter just made the tears start flowing. No dog deserves that. :(

Awww :( That's so sad (and unfortunately true..) :(

There are ways you can help though.. I sometimes foster kittens for my local shelter and they always get adopted into loving homes. :) Fostering helps out a lot because the animals get to stay in a home, rather than a shelter, so they don't get euthanized, and they get their shots, get fixed, and find a home. :)

Debbie - those were very touching slideshows and I realize the need to have them. I have saved them for future "educational" reference- along with Homeless (http://www.itsmeowornever.org/homeless.html) I sure do wish this sort of thing was part of our school curriculums.

I agree Debbie! I think kids should see this sort of thing, especially if thier parents never tell them about stuff like this. I cried at work yesterday seeing those movies and the Homeless one. Sigh, I'm too dern emotional
