24 years ago, I did volunteer work at our local shelter. I did it for about 2 years, and then we moved. During that 2 years, I brought home 4 cats and one dog.

I so admire those on this board who volunteer or work at shelters - I couldn't do it anymore. I find it so diffficult to even look at the pictures of those needing homes - I want to help every single one of them.

We have 5 cats right now - we only deliberately chose 2 of them. The other 3 just happened into our lives, and we were weak, and took them in. We love them all, and would not give up a one.

I pray this adorable kitten finds a furever home very soon.

Don't be to sad, she is in a sorta no kill shelter. Once that shelter decides that they are adoptable, they do not put them to sleep. She'll have a furrever home!

what a lovebug!!!!! I do admit my tendency to torture myself in the same way...looking at shelter pics online. I just keep telling myself one day I will have my dream house on acreage to adopt more than my two kitties I have now. But oh what a face on this little one.....:rolleyes:
