This is a silly thread because I want to get away from knee surgery for a little while. This has been done before, but since there are new members, I'll try it agai. What kind of car do you drive, and what is your dream car? I own a 1994 Oldsmobile cutlass surpreme coupe (one payment to go!) and my dream car is my brother's 1967 Shelby Mustang!

Until recently my vehicle was an '84 Chevy pickup truck and I loved it dearly (it was my late husbands). Had to give it up though because it was on it's last wheels and I was able to trade it for several hundred dollars worth of necessary tree work. My favorite car I've owned was my '65 VW convertible - I felt like I was driving Mr Natural's little bathtub car  Next vehicle I get will have to be big enough to carry several dogs for outings, not picky... as long as it's not some little "pod" car.

I drive a 1994 red BMW 316 coupe with something like 160000 miles. My dream car would be any new car:D

I drive a 2003 Toyota Echo.

I'd love to own a Toyota Prius. I've always loved Jeep Wranglers and still would love to own one of those. *sigh* If only Jeep made hybrids ;)

I drive a 2001 or 2002 (Can't remember) GMC Sierra extended cab truck. It's lowered with 20's and all that junk Californians do to their trucks.

My dream car isn't all that expensive ($30,000)...I want a Land Rover Discovery. I want it charcoal grey with dark tinted windows. I'll never get it unless Mike gets a job in Modesto. It's not practical for him to commute a truck and we'll always need a truck. If he works in Modesto, he can drive the truck and I can have my Discovery. :)

I don't drive anything right now, but my dream is....

Well, it has to be either green, a nice orange, or copper.

(I'm thinking copper would be best)

Either a beetle convertible thing...(not exactly sure what they're called) or a pt cruiser haha.

I drive a 1996 Plymouth Neon, and in September I'm getting a 1997 Chevy Venture (woot... a minivan  )

In case you were wondering... a minivan is NOT my dream car. I can't remember the name of my dream car... wait one moment please...

Oh yes! A Tucker! That's what they're called. If I had multi millions of dollars (15 or more I think would be enough to justify my buying the car) I would buy a Tucker.

*edit- I reread my post and I realized it looked like I thought Tuckers COST 15 million dollars. They aren't that much, but they're HUGE collectors items... if you don't know about them you should research them!

My grandparents had a Zimmer in the 90's. One of their workers did something wrong and it burned to the ground. My grandparents laughed about it because the money hungry family was all fighting over it and my grandparents had prayed for a resolution to the fights. I guess that was the Lord's idea. I think they're ugly, but it did feel pretty fancy to ride in. My grandfather took me to my 8th grade formal in it.

lol at least your driver side door opens form the inside, my mom had an '85 (i think) toyota camry until last year, it had 139,000 miles on it and we couldn't roll down the windows cause they might get stuck and we couldn't open the drivers door from the inside so someone alwasy had to get out and open the doo ror my mom. lol and we were scared to driveit past the city limits cause we never knew when it would break down. and wehad to make turns really wide so the wheels wouldn't fall off

You said the key word....paid-off! Who cares if you are missing a window?! It's great to have no payments!

From the research I did in high school I found that they cost about a million. Only a couple are for sale. But I've seen one in person... and if I had $15 million it would SO be worth it!

If I had 15 million to throw around, I'd rather have a whole bunch of cool inexpensive cars. If I drove a 15 million dollar car, I'd be so freakin paranoid that I wouldn't be able to enjoy it!

I drive a 1992 Subaru Legacy wagon, dark blue.
I don't have a dream car.........unless you consider one that runs and does not need repairs? does that count?

red Volkswagen Beetle with black polka dots
IF I had a beetle it would HAVE to be red with polka dots! :D

I would like to paint a giant smiley on the hood of my car though. (and it would be just like me to do it ;) )

I can tell you that my favorite car I ever had was a 1968 Pontiac Lemans and I painted it BRIGHT YELLOW!!!

Fun thread! I come from a car family (dad has 69 roadrunner - mint condition, and a 1930 Model A Ford Tudor Sedan).

My husband has a 69 camaro that he drag races. I'll see if I can find a picture to post:) My Father in law also races a 69 camaro. Cute huh? Like father like son! ;)

I drive a 2001 T-top camaro (currently loaded with 55000 miles......the commute to work packs em on). I love it to pieces. My new dream car would be a corvette, my old dream car is a 1956 or 7 thunderbird with the continental package. CUTE!

My husband's dream car is the 67 vette with split window. He already has the 69 camaro as his "fun" car, and for commuting he has a Mazda 3.

Well, I don't drive for months now. Eye problems. Either my husband or our driver drives for me. We used to have a 1968 Ford Mustang but gave it up before I graduated in High School.

We have MB Van, Mitsubishi Space Wagon and Toyota Corolla.

My dream vehicle is Ford Expedition. Hmmm.:D
