I have no power!! :( (whine)

Just wanted to complain. There was a huge storm here (in Kentucky) with 80-mph winds :eek: last night. I have heard reports that up to 30% of the city is without power. I don't know when our power will come back on. Traffic lights are out everywhere so it takes forever and a day to drive anywhere. Everything in my fridge will probably go bad, and I will have to change my fish's water every day until the electricity comes back on - they have an electric air pump. Good thing it's only a 2 gallon tank! ;) We have an electric water heater so once that water runs out, we'll be taking cold showers!! There was no damage to my apartment building or car or anything, but others were not so lucky.

Woohoo!!! My boyfriend said the power just came back on a few minutes ago!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad you got your power back on! I was doing a happy dance when ours came on around noon! It looks like there are going to be quit a few people without power for maybe a few more days. I sure feel sorry for them!
