Our fourth of July Photos! Take a look- New pictures of Freckles, Sadie, Dylan and me

We had a great day yesterday! We woke up early in the morning and took Freckles to Hendrick's park for her very first hike. She did WONDERFUL! :D I was so proud of my little girl! We walked all the way to the very top too. Then we came home and got ready to head out to Dan's moms. dan's dad met us there and we had a nice barbecue. We made some steak (well Dan did and let me tell you, he really knows how to make a good meal on the grill!) and had some beans, potato salad and corn on the cob. We had TONS of fireworks but Dylan didn't care for the noise too much so he hung out with grandma in the room and watched cartoons with Mason, Dylan's cousin while we did the fireworks.

We had some really nice fireworks. I bought a ton of purple rains as those are by far my favorite. I love the purple. It is so beautiful! Freckles hung out with Sadie but didn't get too close as the last time she was there Sadie nipped her, and since then she has been slightly afraid of her. Sadie is posessive over food when other animals are around, hence the reason Freckles got nipped. They were being fed in different areas, but Sadie didn't like the fact that Freckles was getting fed too, so came over to snatch her food and bit her. :(

Freckles did seem to want to play, going up to Sadie, barking but then running away with her tail between her legs LOL! Sadie is getting pretty old now so she's more grumpy. I will continue in another post so I do not lose this one.

I have many photos, but none of Dan as he doesn't like his picture taken. I actually had one of the two of us together, as our anniversary was on the 3rd, and yesterday was actually Dan's birthday too, but I thought I looked grose in the picture and erased it. :o He was a little upset. He actually looked very nice in the photo, but I looked nasty LOL! So Dan got two cards for his birthday and some money and we had some really yummy cake. It was ice cream cake, coffe style with whip cream on top and some pecans too. It was soooo good! :D He turned 30. ;) Do you think it's time I trade him in for a younger man? hehe

Anyways, here are the photos. I will stop babbling now. BTW, I got my hair done just the other day. I got it cut with highlights and stuff in it so I am going to post a pic of my new do too. :p

Anna, yes she is getting mighty big! I cannot believe we have had her a month already! I plan on entering her and I into a raise to raise money for our local Humane Society, since she did so well on the hike. We need to start training, as the event isn't until August 1st. :)

Kay, Dan almost shaved his head yesterday!!!! :eek: I was like "NO!" LOL!

Molucass, I LOVE Felony!!! That is so cool they have the same collar. I wanted to get the leash but not enough moola. When I get paid again I am getting the bigger collar and leash to go with it. :) God I want a pit so bad.


Huh some of my photos weren't showing up and when I clicked show picture it shows this weird tiny photo of some guy singing. That is sooo strange!!!! The URL is my picture, but the picture it shows is totally different.

I am glad you like my hair. :) I actually had it cut and highlighted about 2 weeks ago, but the lady messed up and made my left side 2 inches longer than the right, and you couldn't see my red highlights. So I had to go back the other day so she could fix it. Now I am happy. :p For 100 bucks I better be happy!

Maria, Freckles is an Aussie Shep./Lab mix. :) She has the Aussie hypernis, but shows a lot of lab traits too. It seems though, that her fur is getting longer so she may have a medium coat. We will have to see. :)
