Has anyone heard about this: satellite in Saturn's orbit

I am not really "into" space stuff. But this is so exciting. We have successfully (sp) put a satellite inbetween Saturn's rings... and it is sending back pictures!!!:D :eek:

I saw this stuff on the news last night. It's incredible :eek: Sometimes I don't feel comfortable with people prying into the mysteries of the solar system because that's what makes me appreciate it more. ;) But all in all it's very impressive. :D

I hear they're going to land some probes on one of it's moons.

They said they launched this thing 7 years ago!!! That's how long it took to get there! The amazing thing is that it made it and didn't get hit by some "space junk" or something.

Just think that it 'ran' at 42,000 miles an hour- and still took that long to get there. I wish they could get the L.A. freeways move a thenth of that speed....
