I received this e-mail from Emma's adoptive family! :)

Kim,

I just wanted you to know that Emma is save, sound, and happy in her
new home. My dad was happily surprized by his Father's Day gift and
Mom and Dad fell in love with her instantly. Emma was a perfect lady at
my house and my husband and I grew quite attached to her. We miss our
"nap on the couch buddy!" She traveled the six hours to Huntington, WV,
great with only 30 minutes or so of complaints. Emma actually slept in
the car! Then, after we arrived, she was in my Dad's lap within 30
minutes.

Thank you again for your kindness and generosity. Emma is the most
appreciative and loving cat that I have ever known. Her trust in people
comes from the love and care that she received from you and your family.

Sincerely,
Nicole

I'm so happy Emma has settled in so nicely. She certainly deserves such a wonderful home and it's true that it's because of you that she is the loving kitty she is.

What lovely news! And, given the timing, I'd say it's straight from Heaven.

God works wonders every day. That wonderful letter is just a testament to how much love you put into your fosters and of course your own....you should be and feel very proud of yourself. Sometime God sends us the sick ones like Pee Wee only to show us both sides of the spectrum and it really does make us appreciate things in general more.

Kim, I have said since I first began coming on PT...you are one of God's angles here on earth. God has a very special mission for you and that is working with and fostering all these wonderful, loving animals. --- Meg

Oh Kim, that is such a wonderful note. I couldn't agree more that these babies turn out perfect because they had you to guide and love them from the start. :)

That's so cool. :D

I think Our Father was showing you that while there is sadness in what you do, there are REWARDS too! He was telling you, your hard work DOES pay off!
