Cooling off...

It's way too hot here--especially for huskies who still have on their winter coats. Some of my dogs hadn't started shedding yet when this heatwave hit! They are now, but they are still roasting, so we've been going swimming lots!

Silly, silly Raven! She doesn't like flat water, but she loves waves and running water. She bites the waves and sticks her whole head under the water. She's a little freak!

Earle normally perfers to keep his feet on the ground, but even he is swimming this time! He kept trying to nudge me back to the shore--apparently he's never seen people in the water with him before!

Well swimming doesn't usually result in the siberian death scream, like baths do!:p

Usually most of mine won't swim. They just go in far enough to get a drink, but it's so hot here right now that even the ones who hate water are diving right in!

I have yet to be around when Tori is having her bath. Alden says that I have to help him next time though. I'm not so sure I want to be around...lol.

I have seen Tori jump through a small stream before and she acts like the water doesn't affect her at all. She is so graceful at it to. It is a small stream that we cross to get to a walking path that we like. Katie just walks right in and walks across it and Tori takes a pretty little hop through it. Hop, Hop! She's so pretty and makes me think of a little deer hopping through it. :)
