I have to go to my godmothers 25th anniversary party...

My mom bought me a new SKIRT yesterday, I never wear them either...

Anyway, does anyone know what color(s) shirt they would wear with a skirt like this.....

Need suggestions asap! Leaving soon

Black or cream colored maybe?

I agree with aly. Or you could even go with white.

I think it is a pretty skirt.

Im just going to wear, you know, pants, like usual!

Thanks anyway Aly & Robin :) I'll remember that if theres ever a reason to wear that skirt lol

Just about any color shirt would go - even a light pink, to play on the "rose" theme. Any solid-colored shirt, a plain white button-down or even just a knit t-shirt-type fabric would go fine with that skirt. It's got enough going on that something simple up top would be fine.

White, grey- rather elegant.

Black- even more- and just a hint of gothic.

Light pink: sweet

intense pink- possible as well

red (with a bluish tone, not with and orange one) : classic and very radiant (if you feel like that)

I know what you mean! I very rarely wear a dress. I cannot stand them. Love my jeans.

As much as I love my jeans, there's nothing easier than a dress. Throw one on and you are instantly dressed - no worries about tucking in or not tucking in, no cares about clashing colors ... nothing! :)

Blue of any shade.
