It was 3 years ago today that my beloved Keisha died. She was one of the best friends I've ever had.

Just the thought of that day brings tears to my eyes. It was so hard for me to see her that way, and I can't even imagine how painful it was for her. No dog should ever have to be in that much pain.

Keisha I know in the dream I had the other day you just wanted me to know that you are happy and that I should quit blaming myself for your death, but my sweet I miss you so much. Please know that I will never forget that day or how much you just had to be with me on the way to the vets.

But I don't want this day to be sad for now she is at the Rainbow Bridge free to run and play. And now she never has to be brushed, she just hated to be brushed. It's funny the things that we think of on days like this.

There are too many things about her that I loved to even name. But of everything I miss that soulful face of hers, it had so much character and so much love in it.

I hope your having fun at the Rainbow Bridge my beautiful girl!

Oh Anna I'm so sorry about Keisha's passing but as you said, she is now running happy and healthy at the RB playing with all the other doggie angels. No more pain.

I can't get over her sweet facie. Smoochies to you Keisha and hugs to you Anna.

I know Keisha is running and playing at Rainbow Bridge. No more brushing, all you have to do is shake your head a little and it looks great!

I can see why you miss her, she was so very beautiful!! She looked like a little teddy bear!

Thank you everyone, your kind words brought tears to my eyes yet again:)

Is this Angus with Keisha?
No, actually that is a pup that someone "dropped" in our fence one day while we were gone:eek:

Anna, I understand. Anniversarys are very hard. When we have loved a pet so much - they are simply a part of us - forever.

Keisha - rest in peace - have fun at the Rainbow Bridge in full and wonderful health - until you two meet again.

Anna, I remember when you joined PT and shared Kiesha's story, and made us all more aware of bloat.
I can't believe it has been three since she crossed the bridge.
She had such a sweet face, I know we would have all loved her.

I'm sure Keisha appreciates her loving tribute from her wonderful fur-mommy... and she's smiling down on you right now. She has you and Angus -- and Roxey & huney -- in her heart and her her thoughts... She's watching over you guys. :)

She looked like a beautiful, sweet dog. I can't believe you still miss her that much. That makes me sad, that it's going to hurt years after they're gone. Just take comfort that all our loved ones are there too, to keep her company. And that she's no longer in pain. Mine there to look after her are, PooLing, Kitty Boy, Beauty, Nibbles, Kamiczar, and Shoney.

Oh Anna, I'm so sorry I missed your beautiful tribute to Keisha. Like Cincy's mom, I too remember SO well when you joined Pet Talk and shared with us all how you lost your cherished girl, how much you missed her; the love story that is Anna and Keisha. It's been 5 years now since I lost my Jingles and I too still cry. Keisha was so lucky to have had such a loving mom as you. And thank you for sharing her beautiful pictures with us. What a precious doggie she was. {{{HUS}}} Sandra
