Howdy Doo! While checking out my favorite site on several occasions I noted that the DOG FORUM far EXCEEDS the CAT FORUM!! How come, huh? In recent years we've learned that cats have become more popular than dogs. Now, don't get me wrong, I love dogs too...but I'm really a "cat-person" mostly (shameless plug, see DENNIS BUBBA CatoftheDay7/30/00). In fact, I'm crazy about all God's critters, well maybe not cockaroaches...but I once had PET CRICKETS (equipped with knee pads), So anyways, I think it would be a FINE TRIBUTE to all our beloved kitties...to pull those CAT FORUM STATS up! Go! Cats! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/wink.gif
Blessings to you All!

Well, to add to your statistics, I probably post more on the dog forum, only because there are more topics there! I try to read each area daily. Maybe we should urge them to "turn things around" and put the cats on top for a while!!! More people might read about them. But, I must say, I have been a part of some pretty tremendous cat discussions to. Butter and Mimi are as important as any other pet in this house, so I try and put my two cents worth in, and always love hearing from the rest of you experts.

I think it's the nature of the beast! We tend to look upon our feline friends with love and awe at their carriage and demeanour and we dominate our dogs. Most people don't train their cats, take them to the park, go visiting with them etc. etc. They are more personal pets, more private, more just yours ( or should that be you are more theirs) instead of the whole world looking on and offering advice on the "problem" your dog has.

Boots, the Kat, here. Problem in my fambly is the 'puter is at Dad's shop - and he only takes Cinder Dog to work. I get stuck guarding the house all day. I gotta tell my stuff to the Dawg and then hope she types it right. Raw deal, if you ask me. Kat stories never turn out right with a Dawg tellin' it.
