From today's Cat-A-Day calendar:
When the animals filed two by two onto Noah’s ark, Kitty was conspicuously absent. To honor the domestic cat, a legend was born telling of the growing rodent problem on the ark. When Noah asked for help, the lion obligingly sneezed, and out of each nostril came a small version of the big cat.
So now you know .... :)
P.S. When we refer to our lovey fur friends as little snots, they really are! :p

Abner (yes Abner) is one of the biggest snots in the cat world.

That is a Good Story , but I think that the One about Gods creating the Cat , so we may caress the Tiger , is better!
