Well, its official. I signed Tori up for obedience classes today. We start June 28th. Ugh...I know this little girl is going to embarrass me. Not looking forward to that part but am looking forward to some more bonding time with her. Wish us luck and keep your fingers crossed that we actually learn something.....lol

That's great! I'm sure Tori will do well! Let's hope she doesn't embarass you as much as Nebo did me lol.

Don't worry Robin, I'm sure Tori will be just fine! Have I ever told you that Kai was a complete monster when he was her age? My mom even threatened to take him to the pound and look at him now! Preparing for obedience trials and all!

G'luck in obedience!

Hey, it can't be any worse than mine. I have two who flunked obedience classes - Max and Molly. Max because he's just a stubborn little male dachshund (sorry if it's sexist, but it's true) and Molly because she's an airhead with the attention span the size of a gnats behind.
:o

Max is my little man and Molly is my beautiful space cadet, but it really was quite embarrasing to work for hours upon hours and have them go nowhere with their training.

You've made a good decision to enroll her in obedience class. I actually had Holly in 3 diffferent obedience classes  , no she didn't flunk them, but she actually kept doing better and better at each one! The first one was when she was 5-1/2 months old (and she had about a 2 second attention span  ), the second one was when she was 10 months old, and the third was intermediate obedience when she was 1-1/2 years old. We had a different instructor each time which was good, that way we got different perspectives on training. Holly actually did the best at the class when she was 1-1/2 years old, by then she was familiar with the basic commands, she was a little older and calmer :p and she had the background of the previous classes. Good luck, I know Tori will do great!!:)

Let me give you a boost:D

Roxey was a star and just loved obedience class (and Tori reminds me so much of her). All the people in class and the ones watching always said she was the most well behaved and listened so well even though I thought she was being a brat:p
So don't worry, I'm sure she's do terrific (I have faith in the two of you:D)!
