Boomer doesn't get new toys very often. That's mostly because there isn't a decent pet store within 6,000 miles, but is also because he tends to like "homemade" toys like balls of paper better.
So anyway, I was out shopping today and decided that my little furr ball needed a new toy. I got him one of thsoe multipacks with the little fake mice. He LOVES them! So, I thought I'd share some pictures and a video.:D :D :D

My gang loves those little mice toys :)
There is one favorite in the kitchen that has seen better days but they play with it so I can't throw it away.

Boomer, you are just too cute with those mousies! Pouncer agress that homemade toys are best. He especially likes crumpled up aluminum foil!

Ummm, don;t the Japanese spoil their cats/pets the way we do? Just curious! :)

Boomer, you are just sooooo cute when you are playing. You have a very special mommy...to go out and get you some mice.

I have to say that it is a good thing you are inside because those mice would not stand a chance if you were outside....just look at that natural hunting ability in this picture. The mice would be running scared. ;)

Such a good mommy eh Boomer to go out and find you some little mousies to play with.
Boomer really enjoys playing with them.
Does he throw them up in the air like my Chipper does?

Great pictures.:)

So cute Boomer!! You are a great hunter, too! We have about 20 of those mice at our house but they all go missing:eek: Have fun, cutie-pot-pie!!

thanks for all of your comments:) I love my little furrball:) I don't know about how Japanese people view their cats, but I have been to the one pet store in our area and it is just disgusting. There is stuff everywhere and the pets that they do sell are in tiny little cages.... it's really disheartening to go in there. One of my Japanese coworkers has a cat ("FiFi") so I'll have to ask him about that.
Yes, Boomer loves to throw his toys up in the air. I try to play with him, but after just a few seconds he decides that he wants to just play happily by himself  :D
Yes, my mouth is feeling much better:) Now I just have to deal with the annoyance of getting food stuck in the extraction sites:o lol it doesn't hurt, it's just annoying.

Boomer appreciates all of the compliments and gave me a stern talking to about how long it has been since I bought him a new toy. I apologized and promised that it would never happen again:rolleyes: :D :D

I keep watching the video of Boomer and Mr. Mousie -- I love it! What a great boy you have there, Missy. (As if you didn't know that, eh?)
